There are interesting releases this fall on JAZZLINE.

In addition to the 5 CD box set of Dave Liebman and Richie Beirach, which has already received the CHOC Award in France, we present FAY CLAASSEN and DAVID LINX, two top vocalists of the European scene in September 2021, followed in October by the album of the German saxophonist Peter Materna.

Then, at the end of November, another highlight will be released to close the year. Trumpeter and singer ANDREA MOTIS presents her new album "COLORS & SHADOWS" together with the WDR Big Band.

ABOUT US

The two labels JAZZLINE & LEOPARD, united under DELTA Music Media GmbH, showcase the broad spectrum of jazz (JAZZLINE), funk (LEOPARD) and related styles. Constraining genre boundaries are often deliberately ignored.

Whereas JAZZLINE focuses predominantly on the so-called “contemporary jazz” segment, involving established artists as well as new discoveries, LEOPARD presents funk, rock and fusion of the highest quality. Both labels are the artistic home of musicians such as Maceo Parker, Randy Brecker, Steps Ahead, Vince Mendoza, the WDR Big Band, Bobby Sparks or Jan Felix May, to name but a few.

In co-operation with the NDR, the ONKEL PÖ series of JAZZLINE makes legendary concert recordings from the influential German venue Onkel Pö in Hamburg available to the public. Recordings of these concerts have never been released before.

JAZZLINE & LEOPARD are managed by the producer and two-times Grammy winner Joachim Becker, who attaches great importance to the quality of production and sound.

Most of the releases are also available on disc, using the direct metal mastering technique and are pressed on 180g.
